How to stay connected at camp
Here at Canyon Creek we strongly believe in the unplugged approach. We want campers to actually talk to each other and enjoy the summer without the distraction of technology. This allows your child to build strong social connections and experience new challenges and activities, all while making new friends and learning that they can rely on their counselors, friends, and themselves when needs arise.
CALL OR EMAIL US ANYTIME! While our campers don’t have access to phones and computers, our parents do! If you have questions about how your camper’s stay at camp is going, our Directors and Camp Mom are available to act as the liaisons between you and your camper. We pride ourselves on providing personal attention to all of our camp families and we are here to answer any of your questions, day and night!
PHOTOS To help you feel more connected to your camper while they are with us, we upload hundreds of photos throughout every day! Be sure to check out your kid in action at camp – please use the CampInTouch portal to access photos of your child and the camp experience.
ONE-WAY EMAILS TO YOUR CAMPER While we still encourage old-school letter writing, we are also happy to provide a one-way email service to our parents so that you can be sure your letter arrives promptly. Email messages are printed and distributed to our campers every day. You can access this feature through your Dashboard in your camp account.
